We have worked with the LSE over many years delivering short programmes on Marketing and Strategic Marketing. These highly popular and well attended programmes have been designed for Academics, Senior Managers and Administrators at the school. They incorporate customised case studies which relate to the specific challenges LSE and other Russell Group universities face in terms of competition, access, travel restrictions and the growth of overseas campuses in territories who would have hitherto sent students to the UK.
Currently we are delivering Management Apprenticeships for existing front line and operational managers across the whole range of University departments.
These cover all aspects of management skills at the appropriate levels.
Delivering a management programme to the staff of one of the world’s leading business schools has its own challenges as even the most august organisation needs to change and improve in the face of worldwide events. The impact of COVID 19 on student intakes, preferences and country of origin will have a sustained and lasting influence on the way higher education needs to function in the future.
The programme was focused on the development of high level practical skills with Business Cases and improvement reports focussed on quantifiable improvements to service, cost savings and process optimisation to meet both external and internal challenges. During the COVID pandemic all programmes were switched overnight to distance learning using our existing LMS and ILM approved learning materials.
Apprentices were offered at levels 3 & 5, both accredited by ILM, with the end point assessment conducted by CMI.
We have enjoyed an excellent working relationship with LSE and the programme continues to deliver learning and improvement across the institution.
