“I completed the Level 5 ILM Diploma in Management and the AMSPAR Diploma in Primary Care Management course with Cherith Simmons as a distance learner which was hard work but totally worth it.  The coursework was well designed and relevant to my role as Practice Manager but also provided key management training which I can use outside of a primary care setting.  Each piece of work I completed gave me further insight into my management and leadership abilities and offered the chance to improve my own performance and that of my team.  I found the moodle website very informative and easy to use and there was always someone to speak to if I needed guidance.  The telephone tutorials were particularly helpful and helped to keep me motivated and focussed.  Although a distance learner, I really appreciated having the option to attend some of the training workshops for areas where I needed extra help and it also gave me the opportunity to meet my fellow students – all of whom were lovely and very supportive.  I found the experience a rewarding and enjoyable one and I would recommend it to anyone working in or towards primary care management.”
