Who Is This Programme For?

The Level 3 Team Leader Apprenticeship is designed for individuals in supervisory or team leader roles who are responsible for managing people, projects, and achieving operational goals. It’s ideal for:

  • Aspiring Team Leaders: Looking to build leadership skills and gain formal recognition.
  • Newly Appointed Managers: Seeking practical management training to enhance team performance.
  • Existing Team Leaders: Wishing to sharpen their skills, increase productivity, and prepare for higher-level roles.

Programme Overview

Duration: 15 months (excluding End Point Assessment)

Apprenticeship Standard: Team leader / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education

Location: Delivered through either face-to-face workshops or virtual learning supported by our client-branded Learning Management System (LMS).

How does funding work?

Management apprenticeships are funded through a levy scheme operated by HMRC which deducts 0.5% of annual payroll above £3 million. Employers can access this fund when they employ an approved Apprenticeship provider such as Cherith Simmons to deliver the programme.

Cherith Simmons can directly access the funding to pay for the apprentices’ training. Other schemes provide 95% funding for smaller organisations, which Cherith Simmons can access on your behalf.

Funding is currently worth £5,000.00 per apprentice making the training effectively free except for the accreditation fee.

  • Ensure Compliance: Follow policies and procedures while maintaining high professional standards.

What Certification Will You Get?

Upon completion, apprentices will receive a Level 3 leadership and Management qualification. This certification is highly valued across the UK, boosting career prospects and preparing learners for leadership roles in a wide range of sectors.

Level 3 programmes are available via online Virtual workshops, face to face workshops and self-study distance learning via our Night School programme

The programme is delivered through our Virtual Classroom system with highly interactive live zoom monthly workshops in 6-hour sessions over a year. Comprehensive workbooks are supplied by our fully integrated Learning Managing System.
