Open Access Programmes for GP Practice Managers in England

Cherith Simmons has trained more GP Practice Managers to their professional Diploma than any other UK Provider.

To date more than 3,000 such managers have completed with us over the last 25 years, gaining the AMPSAR Diploma in Primary Care Management, coupled with the ILM Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management, and since 2017, the ILM Apprenticeship in Operational management, ensuring that the programme qualified for at least 95% Government Funding.

The programme have been conducted face to face at regional centres but since lock down the majority of these have been delivered through Zoom based live, tutor led workshops.

A version of these programmes is also available through self-study tutor supported distance learning.
Current achievement rates for apprentices show 85% achieving distinctions at their End Point Assessment.
