In addition, they operate a traditional Adult Learning Service across the County. We worked with Realise Futures immediately after their launch for a 3-year period.
For the 450 staff concerned this was an epic change. They had moved from a fully funded local government department to become a contracted provider.
The task was to ensure that all staff had the skills and mind-set to be viable as a commercial entity and were able to deal with the transition.
Working closely with their board and focus groups at all levels of the company we co-produced a multi-level training programme branded as the Realise Futures Academy.
It included leadership & management programmes for all levels of staff from front line to the boardroom benchmarked to national standards and accredited by ILM from levels 2 – 7.
In all over 450 staff successfully completed the programme and the organisation has gone from strength to strength. It has retained the majority of its existing attracted new staff through being seen as a dynamic and innovative employer and its commercial operations profitability has doubled.
