Primary Care Foundation Certificate (PCFC)

An intensive 5-day programme for new Practice reception and administrative staff.

The programme will teach pre-work knowledge, skills and behaviours which enable the new receptionists and administrators to be immediately productive in any practice they join.

The programme is designed to increase motivation and loyalty to reduce front line staff turnover.

All modules are delivered face to face ( with the exception of Medical Terminology) and are supported by AMSPAR, ILM and Ofsted approved learning materials and references.

How does the funding work?

These programmes are commissioned programmes that cost on a cohort basis with a maximum of 15 participants per cohort. The special NHS day rate is £1,025.00 per cohort day plus an individual certification fee of £35.00.

What certification will participants receive? & What is in the programme?

Successful completion of the course results in an AMSPAR Certificate of Attendance.

The programme content is approved by AMSPAR to provide a stepping-stone for further accredited practice staff development.
