Do I need to be employed?
An apprenticeship is a job. You must have an employer and a role that supports the occupational standard. If you are seeking a new apprenticeship job, use the official Find an apprenticeship service.
Will I be charged for the training?
No. An apprentice must not be charged for eligible apprenticeship training or end-point assessment.
Can my current employer support me?
Potentially. Your employer must agree, your role must support the standard and the programme must provide substantial new learning after prior learning is assessed.
