Who is responsible for your information
Cherith Simmons Learning & Development LLP is the controller for personal information collected through this website. Our registered office is G05 Rourke House, Watermans Business Park, The Causeway, Staines, England, TW18 3BA. Our company number is OC378835.
For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email enquiries@cherithsimmons.co.uk or write to us at the address above.
What we collect
If you submit an enquiry, we collect your name, work email, organisation, the subject of your enquiry, your message and, if you choose to provide it, your phone number. If you have allowed advertising cookies, we may also attach limited campaign information such as UTM parameters or a Google or Microsoft click identifier to your enquiry.
Our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, request time and diagnostic logs. Please do not use the general enquiry form for urgent safeguarding matters or include more sensitive information than is necessary.
Why we use it and our lawful bases
- To respond to an enquiry and discuss possible services: steps requested before a contract and our legitimate interest in answering genuine business enquiries.
- To operate, secure and diagnose the website: our legitimate interest in providing a reliable and fraud-resistant service.
- To meet legal, funding, safeguarding or regulatory duties: compliance with a legal obligation where that applies.
- To measure visits or advertising: consent. Analytics and advertising technologies remain off until you make the relevant choice.
Your right to object: where we rely on legitimate interests, you can object to our use of your information. We will stop unless we have a compelling lawful reason to continue.
Who receives it
Website enquiries are delivered to authorised Cherith Simmons inboxes. We use service providers to host the website and deliver transactional email. At launch these services are expected to include Vercel for website hosting and Resend for email delivery. Google Analytics and Meta advertising services are loaded only after the matching consent choice and only when configured.
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information where required by law, to protect someone from harm, or to professional advisers and authorities where appropriate.
International processing
Some technology providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we require an approved transfer mechanism or another protection recognised by UK data-protection law. You can ask us for more information about the safeguards that apply.
How long we keep it
We normally retain an enquiry that does not become a customer relationship for up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact. Contract, funding and accounting records may be kept for longer where the law, a funding rule or a contract requires it. Security logs are retained only for the period needed to investigate and protect the service. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or transfer your information, and to object to its use. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time through Cookie settings or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before it.
You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first.
Changes to this notice
We will update this page when our website, suppliers or processing changes materially. The effective date above shows the current version.
